Design Challenges…Met

This project included several different medical disciplines, each with their own requirements, including Breast Imaging, In-Vitro and Urology Clinics. We designed building systems to accommodate the zoning and program requirements for many different types of medical imaging equipment, including a one-of-a-kind breast imaging CT designed by a researcher at the University of Rochester.

In particular, the REIU clinic had very stringent requirements for temperature, humidity, and cleanliness. This system design required substantial modifications and improvements to the existing building HVAC system to achieve the required results.
